Absolutely superb the duet between McCoy Tyner on the piano and Elvin Jones on drums, from the 4th minute and 47s (4'47'') up to 5'25''. Fabulous percussion of Elvin Jones; enveloping!

Pity we couldn't listen it as well as we can do today with the new technologies.

One could say that Coltrane was clearly overshadowed here and have played a second role. Although we have to consider the very good performance of Coltrane with the acoustic sax/sax alto from the middle up to the end.

[Personally, I prefer Charles Lloyd than Coltrane as a jazz saxophonist in general; Lloyd is (much) more spiritual and technically better: he does what he really wanted to do with the saxophone tenor.]
