We live in a world of effects. Not of causes.
What we see or touch, what we measure (!), is just effects. Simple effects.
The causes we do not see them: they are invisible and untouchable.
The main causes are intellectual – and the mental universe is invisible and untouchable in any way.
Even the physical causes are invisible and untouchable in their real principles.
What we can see and touch is nothing but effects: the door is not the cause of the noise when the wind push it against its own structure.
Even the wind, a quantifiable reality, is not the physical cause of the door's movement or the noise of its crash.
In the case of economy, the causes are mainly psychological, reflected in sociology, for instance.
